Monastery (Prayer) Guild

Requirements: 31+ prayer.

Location: West of Edgeville, east of the Ice Mountain, and north of the Body altar.

If you do not have 31 prayer Abbot Langley will not let you pass. If you can then he will ask you to join the monastery and you can accept his offer, he will heal you on your first visit but you can talk to him afterwards to heal you.

The monks can heal up to 15 hp when you ask them to heal you and Abbot Langley can heal up to 11.

The cabbage spots and rose area is located in the most northern part of the monastery. The cabbage can be also used for the Black Knight's Fortress quest. The roses are used in Garden of Tranquility quest. Be warned, if you continue north you will head into the wilderness.

  1. This is the respawn location for the monk robes which gives you a 11+ prayer bonus when you wear them!

  2. This scorpion is used in the quest Scorpion Catcher quest. If you touch it you will be dealt with 3 damage.

  3. Brother Jered will heal you and enchant your holy symbols when you talk to him about them. You can also purchase a Cape of Accomplishment and hood if you have achieved a Prayer level of 99.

  4. Last but not least, the altar which gives you +2 prayer to what your level is when you restore your prayer points at it.
